Former NFL player Evan Mathis has been accused of trimming sports cards.
News of the scandal broke on the Blowout Forum website.

Mathis is accused of selling trimmed cards through eBay consignors including:
>COMC eBay Account
>Probstein123 eBay Account
>PWCC (Kicked off eBay)
Most card trimmers use PWCC, Probstein and COMC to sell their questionable inventory.
One of his old eBay accounts, cardquest12, has left buyer feedback for a paper trimmer dating back to 2017.

Several articles have been written about Mathis and his collection including:

Some in the hobby worry that the valuable cards Mathis has sold may have been trimmed or altered.
Mathis has defended himself on a now deleted Reddit thread and posted a meme of O.J. Simpson "the glove doesn't fit" on Sports Card Radio's Facebook page.
