There probably is no player in recent memory that looks forward to the NBA Dunk Contest as much as Nate Robinson does. It seems like this is his event.

He has been riding the pine in New York, so this is his one time a year he can shine on the big stage.

2010 Winter Olympic Athletes With Sports Trading Cards

With the 2010 Winter Olympics just days away we take a look at some athletes that have cards and collectibles. Shaun White, Lindsey Vonn and Apollo Ono (who lacks any real collectible) will be NBC's 'darlings' so expect them to see quite a bit of face time. Don't expect any of these athletes to become the next Michael Phelps, but for 2 weeks they will be the face of athletics. You can find some of the collectibles below on eBay.

Shaun White has the potential to be the biggest star for NBC during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Expect the network to devote a good portion of prime-time coverage to Shaun White as his wild hair, colorful personality and major sponsorships make him one of the most recognizable athletes at this years Winter Olympics. We doubt his cards could go up as much as the Michael Phelps 2004 SI For Kids Card did on eBay but anything is possible.

Bode Miller has competed in several Olympic Games and has had some success. He is probably best known for a 60 Minuets Interview where he admitted to skiing while being drunk. An interesting character that is already known by most of the public. He has numerous Sportskings cards including several Autograph Versions.

Although not an actual card (I could not find any) this could be one of her best collectibles. Lindsey Vonn might end up being the most promoted athlete during the 2010 NBC Olympic coverage on TV so her popularity should rise over the next few weeks. She also appears in the 2010 Sports Illustraded Swimsuit Issue.
