Fathers Day Cards

The marketing team at Panini does a good job. The Black Friday promotion last year was a stroke of genius and can really generate some buzz not only in the hobby shop, but also online when the cards get sold. Panini Father’s Day cards get distributed to local hobby shops – and the shops can then give those to customers as they wish. It’s at the discretion of the hobby shop just how they hand out the packs. Some shops may make you buy some product, others might sell the packs on eBay, some may give them to top customers. The amount of packs each hobby shop gets depends on how much Panini product they’ve been buying. Check with your local shop to see if and how many packs they are set to receive.
One thing to keep in mind about the Father’s Day Cards – the Black Friday packs were real easy to search. There are only a couple cards per pack and jersey hits and even probably some of the autographs are easy to determine by molesting the packs. Keep that in mind if you purchase some packs on the secondary market – know that they can easily be searched and you want to be careful when buying them.
The Father’s Day cards are going to feature all the major sports that Panini has a license with. You’ll see some NFL, NBA, NHL and MLBPA cards featuring some of the top athletes in the game. The Panini Prestige NFL Equipment patch autographs of Trent Richardson, Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III are really sweet and will be some of the top cards in the set.
