It’s always fun breaking into a box of 2011 Topps Heritage Baseball because it’s a walk down memory lane, this time to 1962.  Who could forget the wood grained cards from that era?  They are classic looking, like staring into an old Television set it really is a trip back in time. 2011 Heritage is loaded with inserts and all sorts of parallels but many of the pricey cards are tough pulls even out of Hobby boxes. We did get 2 Short Print cards in this box – and those are seeded at 1:3 packs.

Special thanks to www.RotoMVP.com who provided the funds to make this box break happen. Over 40 members of the Sports Card Radio Fan Forum had a chance to take down some cards!

2011 Topps Heritage Buster Posey #218

2011 Topps Heritage Buster Posey #218
Buster Posey was the 2010 NL Rookie of the Year and capped that off by leading the S.F. Giants to their first World Series win since moving to San Francisco in 1954. An encore will be tough, but the former Florida State star is loaded with talent and he might just add an MVP to the resume in 2011.

2011 Topps Heritage Brandon Morrow #489 Sp

2011 Topps Heritage Brandon Morrow #489 Sp
Cards #426-500 are short printed at 1:3 packs in 2011 Topps Heritage. Morrow is a talented young pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays and finished last season 10-7 with a 4.49 ERA. Brandon likes to strike guys out and could have a breakout season in 2011 if he gets his control down.

2011 Topps Heritage Prince Fielder SP #445

2011 Topps Heritage Prince Fielder #445 Sp
Prince is one of the top power hitters in all of baseball and this is a nice picture of him with the beard shaved and a big smile on his face. Fielder became the youngest player to ever hit 50 Home Runs in a season in 2007.

2011 Topps Heritage Mona Lisa NF-3

2011 Topps Heritage Mona Lisa NF-3
This card is apart of the News Flash Backs insert set that have retail odds of 1:12 packs. The famous Mona Lisa painting went on display at the National Gallery of Art, located in Washington DC in 1962.  It was the first time since it had left France in over 50 years.
