2012 Historic Autographs Why The Hall Not will feature players who already have made the HOF, but also guys who maybe should be in. Guys like Barry Bonds, Pete Rose, and Shoeless Joe Jackson are key names in this set. A total of two Joe Jackson cut signature cards are inserted into the product, one pairing him with Pete Rose. The pictures above were taken at the 2012 National Sports Collectors Convention before the set came out. The owner of the company is a great guy and showed off the Jackson cuts before they were packaged up and a lucky collector will pull these cards out of a box very soon. This product is affordable, about $80-90 will get you a box. Not bad with the chance to hit one of the bigger cut signature cards.
Each card in 2012 HA Why The Hall Not is encased and certified by PSA/DNA. You get one of those per box from the names in the checklist listed above. PSA/DNA is a leader in autograph authentication and you can guarantee your autograph is legit. Some boxes will be duds, but I am sure the person who pulls one of the Joe Jackson or Mickey Mantle cuts will be very pleased with their purchase.
