Upper Deck Glass Basketball was always fairly well collected - and now that boxes have dried up, they sell for several hundred dollars if you can find one. I used to sell the mini boxes of these for about $40 online shortly after the release. The 03/04 NBA Draft Class was a special one - and people were focused on getting the LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and other rookies from this set. Upper Deck only made this set for 2 seasons (02/03 & 03/04) however, the plexi-glass like insert cards are highly recognizable and its technology that has been used in other sets - most notably Upper Deck Trilogy Basketball Sets.

The RC cards in this set originally come with a protective film (almost like masking tape) that covers the front of the card. This helps (I guess) with surface scratches which would be the only flaw that most of these cards pick up considering they are a thick 'plexi-glass' like stock. The popularity of the rookies in this set, along with the overall quality of these cards have lead many people to grade them as many come back with high marks.

The lack of an autograph on the 'true rookie' cards make this a set that you could probably put together by hand. Although...the LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and others are all serial #/250 - which is as scarce as it comes - but far cheaper than autograph and jersey pieces.
