Values of Stephen Strasburg 2010 Bowman rookie cards soared in value during the summer of ’10 when he was the top pitching prospect in all of baseball. Many of the high end parallel cards ended up on the 2010 Most Watched Cards list – including this 2010 Bowman Red Parallel, serial numbered 1/1, which checked in at #5.
It turned out to be a bad dream for buyers of Strasburg cards during this time. When he went down with an arm injury in late August – values of his rookie cards plummeted like the housing market in 2008. This 2010 Bowman Red Parallel is a perfect example, the card sold at the peak of the Strasburg mania in June 2010 for $4,850.
