The good people over at Baseball Factory Sets were nice enough to hook up the members of the Sports Card Radio Fan Forum with an opportunity to win cards from this box of 2010 Topps Triple Threads Baseball. These boxes are way out of our price range so it certainly was a generous donation! We gave away every card to 12 different Fan Forum members and also set a record for the most contest entries we’ve ever had for a box break: 73!
We pulled some very nice cards from this box in which every card is serial numbered. Our two hits were nice, Ichiro cards sell very well on the secondary market. The Roger Maris Gold Parallel #/99 was a nice touch as well. There was a manufactures printing flaw on the Aaron Hill Autograph #/9. For some reason, there is a ‘chip’ on the silver sticker that the auto appears on. Very weird, not sure I’ve ever seen something like that. These cards are somewhat condition sensitive because of their thick construction.
