2011 Sage Autographed Football

14 Packs Per Box – 3 Cards Per Pack
1 Autographed Card Per Pack
No Redemption Cards
2011 Sage Autographed will be the companies second release of Football Cards before the ’11 NFL Draft. It’s flagship product, 2011 Sage Football Low/High Series drew mixed reviews from buyers, as some of the card designs were meant more for a younger audience. Because Sage lost it’s NCAA CLC license, which now belongs to Upper Deck, Sage is limited because they cannot show logos and team uniforms on their cards – which is why you see Blaine Gabbert in a plain red t-shirt instead of his college uniform. Needless to say, Sage also does not own the license to show logos of NFL teams – that license is split, belonging to Panini America and Topps Co.

This product is fun to open if you can get it for the right price. That usually means waiting it out for the price to drop because boxes will be pricey in the first couple weeks after it’s release. Back in December 2010 we opened a box of 2005 Sage Autographed Football, but we only paid around $50 for that box on special. 2011 Sage Autographed Football has an average pre-sale price of around $125 per box on the retail level, so you might be better off holding off if you can.
You will get 14 total autographs in boxes of 2011 Sage Autographed Football. For that reason alone it is a fun break and if you hit a nice autograph of one of the top draft picks, those tend to sell fairly well out of the gate.
