San Francisco Giants hard throwing closer Brian Wilson is a fan favorite for his high wire saves and unique personality. During the 2010 MLB Playoffs, Wilson grew a beard and picked up some ‘Just For Men’ at the local grocery store and the result was, according to one broadcaster “the best real, fake looking beard I’ve ever seen”.
Brian Wilson’s best rookie card is from 2006 Upper Deck Sp Authentic Baseball. It’s his only autographed rookie card and is serial numbered /899. In October 2010 when the Giants were making their run to the World Series these cards were selling in the $50-65 range at auction.
