Haters are going to hate. Big Baller Brand owner LaVar Ball signed 200 cards for Leaf Trading Cards and each one is a conversation piece.
Leaf listed the cards for $60 each on eBay and sold out in less than a minute. Each buyer got 1 random autograph of Ball.
Some quick fingered buyers relisted the cards on eBay and a few sold for over $300.

Leaf got more people talking about basketball cards in 24 hours than Panini America did all year.
Panini, the exclusive maker of NBA licensed cards, suffered through a 2016-17 NBA rookie class that didn’t see any player set the hobby world on fire.

Leaf Cards CEO Brian Gray took to Twitter to issue a message to all the haters and trolls out there:
[pullquote align=”normal”]From our CEO:
I have to be honest. It makes me want to puke when some collectors tell other collectors they are stupid for what they collect.
If you don’t like something, don’t buy it. BUT, when you troll for sport and because it isn’t your cup of tea, that is indeed sad.
