Professional sports bettor David Oancea, who is better known as Vegas Dave, has a penchant for buying Derek Carr, Carlos Correa and Mike Trout.
In May, he added the biggest card in his collection by paying a reported $400,000 for the 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Mike Trout Superfractor 1/1 autograph.

The Trout Superfractor had been for sale on eBay since June 2016.
According to Beckett, a couple different sellers have listed the card, so it's not clear if the Trout had changed hands prior to Vegas Dave acquiring the card.
In May, Vegas Dave confirmed the sale on Twitter.
Like most people associated with the big money world of Las Vegas and sports cards, there is a twinge of shadiness to the story.
At the 2017 National Sports Collectors Convention, rumors surfaced that Vegas Dave sold a counterfeit Michael Jordan Rookie Card for $18,000.
Outside the card world, he's faced other legal issues.
On April 12, 2017 a federal grand jury indicted him for using phony Social Security numbers to open player betting accounts at Las Vegas casinos and sportsbooks.
9 days later on April 21, 2017 Vegas Dave was back in court facing domestic violence charges.
